what is the mortality in untreated chronic pain?

This would depend, in large part, on what was causing the pain. What
is the underlying condition?

primarily non cancer pain. Most clinicians see that chronic pain patients are 
aging faster. We know (need references) that suicide rare is high in
chronic pain patients. We know there is increased rates of
hypertension and disabetes as well as major depression. But there is
no inclusive stement anywhere that I can find on the overall mortality
