I have 50 CDs containing technical documents in .pdf format. I need
to find a service that will output paper copies of these documents.
There are approximately 300,000 pages.

Hi pwal...

I believe the "service" you are looking
for would be called a 'Printing company'

Kinko's would possibly do the printing...
they might not be efficient at it though.

Where are you located at, we can find a
printer near you that is capable of that
volume. Are they to be bound in any way?

This is a big task I don't envy you what you are trying to do.
Alienintelligence-ga's suggestion to use Kinkos copy centers to do
this is in fact a good one. I went to Kinko's website.
http://www.kinkos.com/index.php

You can send them documents online and they do accept pdf file types.
However, you would have to send them one document at a time and it
would take forever. I suggest you go to the nearest Kinko's and tell
them what you want done and they appear from the website able to do
what you want. The only thing is that it will be expensive. Make sure
you tell them how many pages it will be. They mention on the website
that they have volume discounts.

http://www.kinkos.com/help/your_order/quality_pricing.php

When I looked it appears that for orders of 125,000 pages or more one
sided copies would cost 3.5 cents per page. That would cost about
10,500 dollars not including tax.

I called a friend of mine that owns a business center and they thought
they could do the same thing for less than 3.5 cents per copy. I live
in a small town. I am sure if you contacted some other local business
centers or copying companies in your area you could get a better price
than 3.5 cents per page.

Hope that helps
