Question ID: 552482
I need help locating these washing machine part #s to purchase and
have shipped to me. I have the part #'s I need, but cant find them to
purchase.

I have a top and bottom GE washing machine / ELECTRIC dryer combo
unit, built around 1987/88/89.

I will consider this question complete, when you have located and
confirmed that the vendor has the parts to ship IN STOCK, or can get
them in stock / shipped to me within 2 weeks. The 1st part is the main
one that i need. If you can only locate 1st part, i will pay 50%.

Alternatively, if you can locate a working, used washer / ELECTRIC
dryer top n bottom combo for under $350 delivered and installed to me
(in an elevator building, and up 1 flight of stairs) in Perth Amboy,
NJ, 08861, I will accept that answer as well. This must also include
removing old unit and placing near dumpster in parking lot outside
building.

GE Washer model WWP1180GAW
GE agitator part WH40X0171

Partsdepotonline.com says I want ?shaft agitator drive? part
#5308014910, (their SKU #?) about $68 / $61 for alt brand

I also need the ?agitator drive block?, mine is worn, the tall peice
the cap screws into. $20 for alt brand. (my cap wont screw into it
because there are no threads left on the agitator drive block.

Also ?agitator cap and gasket?. A new cap isnt a bad idea.
$20 For alternate brand.

Also agitator hold down screw, about $10 for alt brand part

Sears has part #WH40X171 for $89. If you go to http://www3.sears.com/
and enter your model number (the part number won't work), then click
TUB AND WATER INLET, it will give you a list of all the parts, and
there's a little button that says "show diagram" which might help you
identify and order exactly the parts you need. I have ordered parts
for my dishwasher from Sears through this website before. Good luck!
