A hospital uses a job cost system for all residents. In January, the pre op room and operating room had budgeted allocation bases of 2,000 and 1,000 respectively. The budgeted nursing overhead charges for each department for the month were $84,000 and $66,000 respectively. The hospital floor had overhead costs of $600,000 and 7,500 nursing hours for the month. For one patient, actual hours incurred were 8 and 4 hours, respectively, in the pre op room and the op room. The patient was there for 4 days (96 hours). Pre op costs OR costs In room costs medicine 100 250 1200 nursing time 2400 3500 5400 There is a budgeted overhead rate for applying overhead to patient stays. What is the total cost of the stay of this patient? |

Gofigure, You have posted 8 questions recently (and another 8 in January) that are all obviously homework assignments. You are fooling yourself if you pass courses without doing the work yourself, and you are establishing an attitude about handling work assignments that will not be good for your future. Myoarin |

Thanks for your concern but it's all fine. Learning is established in a variety of different ways and reassurance is one. Please don't cast stones unless you know the situations. |
