This year I wen't to New York City and watched the fireworks show put on by
Macy's from Brooklyn.  To describe this event to those back at home
I'm  looking for some stats on it. i.e. pounds of explosives used,
dollars spent, time put into it, how large the explosions actually
are... Information like that.

reportedly comprised of more than 35,000 shells, more than 40-thousand
pounds of fireworks, and more than 120,000 bursts of color and light.
