Question ID: 552674
I would like to upgrade the cpu in my Dell Inspiron 7000 laptop. I
have heard reports of success and failure. I read that it could not
use cpu speeds above 400 MHz. I'd like to know what the upper limit
is. Specifically would this cpu work (and would it work at 400 or
700?):
DELL INTEL PIII 700MHz MMC-2 CPU

Any instructions on how to successfully install the new cpu would
be appreciated.

Also, what is the maximum amount of RAM I can put in?
