I am emigrating to Canada from the United States to accept permanent
employment. My FICO score and credit rating is based on my social
security number here in the Unitd States.
In Canada, obviously, their credit bureaus don't use the SSN. They use
the Canadian Social Insurance Number. What happens to my American
credit score, FICO score, which is based on my SSN? Do I start from
scratch with the Canadian Credit Bureaus with the Canadian equivalent,
the Social Insurance Number?
