My double-click is totally broken. I think I downloaded a virus
through AOL Instant Messenger yesterday, I ran Norton, it found a
bunch of stuff, then a while later, my double click stopped working. For
instance, to open "My Computer" on my desktop, I have to right click, then
left click on "Open" in the menu. In the mouse section of the control
panel, where you test the double click speed, it doesn't work at all,
even at the
slowest speed. $30 to answer this question quickly. I've looked all
over the internet for it.

Kevbo...

Before you give up on GA, I wonder if you've tried using
a different keyboard? Sometimes a faulty keyboard can
interact with mouse functions in such a way that it's
not clear that it's the keyboard that's faulty, and not
the mouse itself.

Let me know...

START / Control Panel / (Classic View) / Right click on MOUSE icon,
select open , left click on "Buttons" tab .... slow down the
double-click speed. Don't forget to left click on APPLY, then left
click on OK. Close out of Control Panel

Cheers !!!
