I have two of these mattresses sitting on two adjustable bases. Where
can I find, in stock, discounted 400 T/C cotton sateen sheets (solid
ivory preferred) that will fit the 13.5 inch Celebrity twin xl
mattresses. I beleive we need sheets that are at least 17-18 inches
deep so they will not come off while raising / lowering the adjustable
base. Thanx, Bob

Howdy skimer99-ga,

The best price I have found is $99.00 for a set that includes one fitted
sheet, one flat sheet and one pillowcase.

Hey Dunco ---

Ambience Linens ... the selection menu for Twin XL (Taupe) says 13"
deep (may be a misprint but it scared me off when I was here a week or
so ago).

BedBathBeyond ..I ordered our current sheets (Natural @ 69.99 set)
from here. The ad was the same as your recommendation 'fits up to 18"
mattress'. But upon arrival the pkg insert stated something like 15"
pockets fits up to 18" mattress. Basically the corners pop off ...and
why I called Google Answers!

FrontGate--- I believe there is nothing higher than 500-600 T/C ....
anything higher than that are two ply sheets sewn together. Although
I loved the ad stating 18" pockets fit up to 22" mattress !!! $149
set was ugh!

I only paid ya $5 so I do not expect more research. Anyway you have
given me some more avenues to chase down ... probably will telephone
Ambieance and Frontgate. Thanx, Bob (GO BROWNS GO) !

Howdy Bob,

This Ambience Linens page, as well as the previously noted page, clearly and
repeatedly state they are 18 inches deep. Yep, I think the 13" is probably
a typographical error, but a (free) phone call might be needed to be sure.
http://store.ambiancelinens.com/400tcsheetset.html

As for Bad Bath & Beyond, I just calls them as I sees them. Disappointing
for me as well.

Speaking to the 1,020 thread count claimed by Frontgate, there is this.
http://www.departures.com/bb/bb_0701_finelinens.html

"Two companies known for their fine linens have recently introduced new designs
for the bed that combine luxury with a simple, tailored look. Sferra Bros. has
just come out with Millesimo, an Egyptian-cotton sateen sheet woven in Italy
with a record-breaking 1,020 thread count. Available in white or ivory,
Millesimo comes with lace or traditional hemstitch detailing. A king-sized set
(flat and fitted sheets, two pillowcases) costs $1,300. For
information: 800-336-1891."

A bargain at $149.00 when compared to $1,300, although granted, for the king
size. I agree, still pretty pricey.

I now have a another 1-2 avenues to chase down. Good research! Its
also satisfying to know my own research was not off the mark! Thanx
for you help ...this is truly a convenient and helpful service.

I have a similar problem, however I have the 2 tempurpedic mattresses
- twin XL - on adjustable bases for which I need twin XL mattresses
with deep pockets, but the bed is made up with king top sheet and
blankets. Every time I find a twin XL deep pocket sheet it is in a
sheet set. I would have to buy two twin XL sheet sets and one King
sheet set just for the one bed. Macy's has a home sale starting this
week with Twin XL said to fit 17" deep mattresses, but offered in
sets only - a 400 count cotton damask. If I bought two twins and one
king, even on sale I would be spending $220 for only three sheets, and
have unneeded sheets and pillowcases left over.

I did start out with Bed Bath and Beyond sheets, sold individually and
said to fit 12" mattresses - they pop right off. Everything else I
look at seems to be sheet sets - including most of the references in
this answer except for Frontgate, which would be $600 for the same
three individual sheets - sumptuous I'm sure, but a bit much.

Are there no sources for individual sale of Twin XL with deep pockets
at reasonable prices?

Sheet sets for the tempurpedic Twin XL mattresses can be ordered at
"Tall Paul's Tall Mall" on the Internet. I found it through the search
engine, Google. Cost is about $175 for the set, (2 fitted bottom
sheets, 1 flat top sheet and 2 pillowcases), depending on the type you
order.
