We have purchased the domain names www.debtfreeinc.com and
www.debtfreellc.com and are nearing completion of an accompanying
website, as part of a business model offering consumers personalized
consulting services along with a customized plan on how to get out of
debt quickly.  This is not intended to be a debt management or credit
consolidation business, in which payments are collected by the company
and/or debts are settled with the creditors.

We have searched the MA Secretary of State names division
(http://corp.sec.state.ma.us/corp/corpsearch/corpsearchinput.asp), and
only one other company has a similar name (Debt Free Debt
Consolidation, LLC).  We intend to organize or incorporate in MA with
the name "Debt Free, Inc." or "Debt Free, LLC" and operate the website
under the same name (still undecided between the two).

Additionally, as we will be operating nationally over the internet
and, down the road, through other marketing methods, we want to ensure
(as best as possible) that we will not encounter any issues with our
name.  Thus, I have completed a search on (http://www.uspto.gov/) for
the name "Debt Free".  Although IGT has a trademark on the name for
gaming machines, it did not appear (to me anyway) that there were any
ACTIVE / LIVE trademarks on the term "Debt Free".  There were "Debt
Free USA" etc., but I'm not sure how that affects things.

My question is three-fold, 1) based on your more experienced opinion
of the trademark search of "Debt Free", what are your thoughts?  2)
How do we go about registering the trademark (beyond clicking on
"File" on the same website, and 3) Is there anything else that comes
to mind that we should be concerned / worried about with respect to
Trademark / Registration / Copyright issues?
