This sounds like a really stupid question but it is of great importance.
There was a television commericial about a TV show in Britian which is
imported to the USA. The commercial said the show was in the style of
Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. The show is about some
British badass gangster person and the tagline of the show is "When he
talks, people listen...when he stops talking, people get hurt". I am
looking for
the name of the show, and I will pay an additional 20$ for a internet
video or sound clip of the above tagline.

Hi Challenger70!

Could you be thinking of the TV Series ?The Long Firm??

'Long Firm' introduces a new kind of mob boss
Fri Mar 04, 2005

?BBC America brings a new gangster to American television with a
brutal honesty that will rival HBO?s ?The Sopranos.?

?Harry Starks (Mark Strong) rules the streets of Soho in 1960s London.
He is the quintessential mob boss?suave, sophisticated and tough. He
also is homosexual, and not afraid to admit it. ?

Could this be the quotation?

?The best way to take, in my experience, is to give,? says Harry. ?You
give people what they want and they give you what you want. You give
people what they wish for and they will give you their soul.?

Hello challenger70,

>I am looking for the name of the show, and I will pay an additional

Since I found the name of the show I am posting my answer here in the
answer box. I was not able to locate the any clips of the tagline
though. I suggest you post a new question for the internet video or
sound clip for the additional fee you offered.

Not trying to mooch off Bobbie, but if the show is indeed "The Long
Firm," here's some video clips from episodes of the show. They come
from the official BBC site. :) -cooljay136

The quotation that im looking for is actually a voice over done in a
commercial. The Long Firm sounds right though. Im still looking very
hard for a recording of that voice over quote.
