I have found the information you want, for sale at the price of
$79.95, would that be a satisfactory answer?

This site also allows you to search one zip code at a time, for free,
to obtain the same information.

Hi gp73,

I have located a site that lists all US zip codes. After clicking on a
zip code, the following data regarding population, among other
information, is displayed:

Population (2000)
White population
Black population
American Indian population
Asian population
Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander population
Some other race population
Two or more races population
Urban population
Rural population

Here is an example:

00601 Zip Code Detailed Profile

Population (2000): 19,143
White population: 18215
Black population: 230
American Indian population: 31
Asian population: 2
Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander population: 0
Some other race population: 378
Two or more races population: 287
Urban population: 10934
Rural population: 8209

Would a link to this website suffice as an answer to your question?
Alternatively, priced accordingly, I would be willing to manually
compile an Excel file with your requested criteria, ie
zip-state-population.

Waiting to hear your views.

Best regards,
Rainbow

Rainbow - Not sure if you're allowed to do this, but can you tell me
how much it would cost to get the data in excel? Thanks.

Hi gp73,

It would take me about a day to compile the list. See here:

I hope that helps.

time-consuming than I had anticipated. Hopefully, I will have it
finished by the beginning of next week.

Hi gp73,

After having realized the full magnitude of the work involved to
compile this list manually, I conducted a further search and came
across a site that provides this information, and more, for a much
lesser price than you are willing to pay me.

I considered purchasing this monthly subscription myself and
reformatting it, removing any unrequired data. However, I found it
more appropriate to give you the option to decide.

Here is the site:
http://www.zipcodeworld.com/zipcodegold.htm

Please let me know how you would like me to proceed.

Best regards,
Rainbow

I have found the information you seek, but it will take me another few
hours to compile it. I'll have an answer by the end of the work day.

I've assembled population data for more than 33,000 ZIP code. I
accessed the data from the U.S. Census Bureau via the custom-table
feature at http://factfinder.census.gov/servlet/CTGeoSearchByListServlet?ds_name=DEC_2000_SF1_U&_lang=en&_ts=142522892699.
The list is far too long to post here, so I stored it in an Excel
spreadsheet at http://www.wecanwrite.com/ZIP.Codes.xls.

The file is quite large, and I will only keep it up there for a couple
of days. If you do not check this answer before I pull the file,
clarify your question, and I'll get an e-mail, and I can repost it.

Hope the data helps,
