Wifelover,

There are so many woodworking tool manufacturers, with many of them
being private companies, headquartered outside of the U.S.A., or
producing private labels, that it will be difficult to get good
numbers on biscuit joiners.

For accurate statistics (if they are available), I would suggest
contacting the following industry organizations during the week:

Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA)
   1900 Arch Street
   Philadelphia, PA 19103-1498
   Tel: 800-289-9662, 215-564-3484
   Fax: 215-963-9785
   Email: wmma@fernley.com
   Web: http://www.wmma.org/

Woodworking Association of North America (WANA)
   PO Box 478, Depot Road
   Tamworth, NH 03886
   Tel: 877-876-9676, 603-323-7500
   Fax: 603-323-7500
   Email: wana@rscs.net
   Web: http://wana.freeyellow.com/

   Woodworking Machinery Industry Association
   5024-R Campbell Boulevard
   Baltimore, MD 21236-5974
   Tel: 410-931-8100
   Fax: 410-931-8111
   Email: info@wmia.org
   Web: http://www.wmia.org/

I searched their Web sites with Google, but nothing relevant showed
up.

Thanks,
Huntsman
