I am trying to use Group Policy to specify a proxy server by using a
PAC file (automatic configuration script). I enable those settings in
Group Policy and they are applied to the extent that the path to the
PAC file is inserted into IE's LAN settings (and greyed out), however
the actual checkbox "Use automatic configuration script" is not
checked. This means they are not using the configuration script.
