carlos30-ga,

A list like this is usually purchased from a mailing list house that
specializes in e-mail lists for specific types of businesses.

Are you looking for a vendor of such a list? If so, we may be able to
identify one (or more) such vendors, and post that information as an
answer to your question.

Let us know if that works for you.

I am trying to reach gas station owners via email. I am not an expert
in internet research and the mailing list I got did not address
exactly my objective of reaching gas station owners via email.

If you can provide the path that offers the exact info I am searching
for that would be acceptable to me, but how can you and I be certain
that we will get what we are looking for without seeing the data
before purchasing the list?

carlos30-ga,

Take a look at the description of this email list from Motor Age:

http://listfinder.multichannelmerchant.com/market?page=research/datacard&id=129381

It's not cheap, but it seems to be well-targeted to gas station owners
as well as other automotive types.

Let me know what you think.

carlos30-ga,

As I noted above, I think the mailing list available for rent at the
link below is just the ticket for reaching gas station owners:

http://listfinder.multichannelmerchant.com/market?page=research/datacard&id=129381

It's one of the only lists I saw that focus on this select group, but
it's well-targeted to gas station owners as well as other automotive
types of businesses.

I trust this information fully meets your needs. However, please do
not rate this answer until your are fully satisfied. If there's
anything else you need, just let me know, and I'm at your service.

Yes, the Motor Age list looks good, but is apparently only a portion
of total market you want to reach.

These sites indicate that 1997/2000 there over 120,000 retail outlets
selling gasoline.
