Help me.  I bought a murder mystery jigsaw puzzle at a garage sale -
only the story was not in the box.  Is there a place on the web that I
can find the story for the puzzle?  It is by Jonathan Kellerman called
the Things we do for Love.

I think that is the correct story - but a slightly different version. 
See the point of the murder mystery puzzle would be to figure out the
end of the story, and the one you gave me already has an ending.  The
characters names are the same as what was on the box, and you did
provide a (thorough) answer, so go ahead and post it as an answer.  I
think I can figure out how to modify the story to fit the puzzle and
give it to someone who will enjoy it.
