I am looking for the most economical elliptical trainer I can buy with the following specifications. Should be able to withstand being used for 4 hours a day by at least 3 people The users will weigh between 100 and 150 pounds. The users will be between 5 feet and 2inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall. The elliptical should have both upper and lower body workout It should be as quieter and fluid as possible. It should have a heart rate monitor. (I would prefer if I could set the heart rate to a given level and have the elliptical keep me at that level). I would also prefer the heart rate to be on the hand bars (like the ones at the gym). It should have at least 5 different resistance levels. I would prefer an adjustable stride length for workout variety but I don't think they make them with the upper body workouts. It should have a good warranty (at least 3 years on parts and labor). It should be durable enough to last for 5 to 10 years. I do not care how much the elliptical weighs or how much space it will take up. Also, I was wondering if there was any model that came with a small built in TV/DVD screen that turns on when you are working out and off when you are not. (Similar to the ones they have at the Sports Clubs). Or, if the elliptical does not come with the screen if there are any dealers that sell this as an add on to the elliptical. This is important to me as motivation to use the machine. Thanks very much! |
