in my youth I have seen an Asian kung fu movie most probably Chinese
late 80s early 90s, which in Russian theater was played under name
"Ritcar'-odinochka". the theme line goes like this:
the white lotus society was almost completely destroyed by some mean
ruler (some sort of castrated guy with lion in his name with weapon
which looks like 2 sword just bended in the form of hook in the end)
only 2 guys left, by the at time they did not have any money left so
they decided to play they lives and later scarifies themselves to
avenge their family and friends, they bought a list of top 5 marshal
art artist in whole country each of them with it's own weapon and
unique style the first was good with kicking and hitting , the second
was good with tri-nunchaku like thing, next with daggers, the 4th I do
not remember what kind of weapon used , and the last was most powerful
with sword.
the sword guy was a motto "I do not interfere in other people affairs
as long as they do not disturb me"
so those 2 guys decided to act as one of them wants to poison him and
another one drink the poison before sword guy had a chance to get the
cap and so make sword guy in dept for saving his life. one of the
guys from white lotus clan had a red spider tattoo in his hand, this
mark later will help sword guy to realise what really happened and how
he was played. from this point the movie goes like a ancient
detective. sword guy found the list of 5 great masters and so he start
traveling around country to meet them to talk, he find out that most
of them already dead, some poisoned some killed. at the end sword guy
recognized the truth and just amazed by the actions of white lotus
clan heroes.
