I believe the "Almanac of Famous People" is what you are looking for
because you'd be hard pressed to find a more comprehensive
publication. The most recent 8th edition is $185.00 but previous
editions are available for less. Alternately, your local library
probably has a copy or could get you one through the inter-library
loan program.
