First of all, thank you for your comment and your kind suggestion. 

I suggest you'll post a question regrading your aspirations. However, : 
- It is a good question whether such "sure shots" exist or not. Some
people just get very lucky (e.g. J. K. Rowlings), while others, with
books of value, do not get a chance, because of their marketing
technique, or just because they have "bad luck".
- You'll have to define, in your question, whether you'd like to
publish an academic non-fiction book; a non-academic non-fiction book;
fiction; poetry; art - these all attract different kinds of
publishers.
