I'm asking about small package delivery.  No one object over 60 or 70
lbs. although the total weight can be several hundred pounds. Mostly
interested
in pick-up and/or delivery of small packages and/or envelopes.  Same-day 
or overnight in a 150 mile radius of San Francisco, CA.

this market is serviced by 3 overnight delivery services.
1) overnite Express
2) California overnite
3) Golden State Overnight
all three have toll free numbers.

If you can get hold of their client lists, your request for names of
companies using this type of service will be answered.
