Ref : UK Football pools H/T & F/T results (linked to UK Littlewoods/Verons football pools etc..) Do you know where I get get some archive info on say the last few seasons of the UK soccer results (that were played on the pools so I can do some trend analysis of Half time results for the coupon nos 1-58 etc) Usually the Sunday papers display the football results of the previous Saturday match's for the public to see if they have won the pools etc. With this information I want to see if I can see any trend patterns that may be able to help me with my current project. Cheers, Martin |

Hi, You should find all the data you need at Football-Data.co.uk Football-Data.co.uk http://www.football-data.co.uk/download.html Once you register on the site, you can download comma-separated files of extremely comprehensive data about premiership and league games for the last nine seasons. These can be easily imported into your favourite spreadsheet application for analysis. Registration is free. The data files include half-time and full-time scores, as well as loads of other (probably superfluous) information - attendance figures, name of referee, number of shots on target and so on. You can see a sample data file - which gives Premiership results for the '01-'02 season - here Football-Data.co.uk http://www.football-data.co.uk/E0.csv And an explanation of the abbreviations etc. here: Football-Data.co.uk http://www.football-data.co.uk/notes.txt Hope this meets your needs. grimace |
