I have a 40 minute audio file - basically a recording of a seminar I
provided. I would like to create controls in flash that allow a use
to skip ahead to reference points, much like chapter skipping in a
DVD.

I'm looking for someone simply to tell me whether or not this can be
done and I'm assuming that if it can be done there are many many
tutorials on the net. You can either tell me what terms I should
search for - for success or just point me to a page that fills me in.

Typically, I stream my audios using the audio/video objects available
in Flash MX. I know that Flash will recognize 'cue points' and call
up slides but I don't know if I can tell flash to skip ahead to a
particular time.

For an example of this audio see http://www.forimpact.org/tls . In
addition to listening to this presentation (and having the ability to
select the time), I would also like to list reference points such as
'Topic 3: 3:52 - 4:32' and have the controller skip to that time ...

Let me know your thoughts.
