I am from the UK, have a UK driving licence, and am in the US for
about 9 months. I want to get car insurance so that I can buy a car
here. All the insurance companies I have tried, including State Farm,
Geico, Progressive require a US driving licence. I am based in upstate
New York (near New Paltz). What company will insure me with my UK
licence?
