Can someone locate for me 2-3 well-established, credible life
insurance companies that will underwrite policies for someone with a
recent DWI?  (By credible, I mean that they have A rankings by the
agencies that grade the life insurers' financial health.)

Sites like ReliaQuote or Insure.com are not a solution -- notice that
they use a screening question asking about recent DWIs.  To get a
solution, I either need an insurer's web page describing a policy for
this situation, or if you have informal knowledge (but can't find a
supporting web page), send me the contact info, and after I verify the
insurer's policy by phone, I will gladly pay up.  Thanks so much for
