The Coast to Coast AM radio show plays a song quite frequently for
bumper music - it starts out with a slight piano in the background and
I beleive the first line of the song is some variation of "Can you
hear my heart beating this hard?". What is the actual title and lyrics
to this song?

Hello journeyofthought,

The song is "Boom Boom Bâ," by Métisse.

"The 'Best-of' Coast to Coast AM Bumper Music..." [find in page: Boom Boom Ba]

"The Next Best Thing: Music From The Motion Picture [SOUNDTRACK]" [the

There's some disagreement among lyrics pages as to the exact lyrics.
I hope that this collection of differing lyrics will suffice:

Can you hear my heart beating
Can you hear that sound
Cause I can't help crying
And I wont look down
