Hi, I need to revise for a genetics exam later this summer, these are
4 (of 20) questions from last years paper that i'm having trouble
with. Can you please give me detailed model answers to memorise and
any handy tips. Thanks!

Discuss how patterns of gene inheritance reflect sex-linkage of named
genes in humans and drosophila.

Discuss the basis of rhesus blood grouping and the risks this poses
during pregnancy.

Discuss the genetics of phenotypic expression of the ABO blood
grouping antigens in blood and other fluids.

Discuss how Morgan used drosophila to study inheritance of named
linked loci, indicating how such studies can be used in gene mapping.

I plan to tip $10 or so for good answers/helpful advice
Please be prompt, the sooner it gets answered the more time I have to revise.

Here are some pretty solid answers (weblinks) to the first two
questions, but if you want to maybe explain a bit more on the 3rd &
4th (Morgan who?), I might be able to get this info to you just as
quick.

Answer to Question #1:

Answer to Question #2:

Let me know what you think of this stuff so far--

Thanks for the resources, found one of them before but didn't realise
how useful it was. Has increased my understanding of them a lot more,
things are begginging to make more sense now.
Also clarified my question with who morgan was and a good resource,
havn't had time to read it fully, am leaving these 4 topics as last
things to revise before my exam. Exam date is 2nd of September so
thanks for the help, it's geting uncomfortably close!
