I need to know the total number of prostatectomies that are performed
each year worldwide, and of those how many are performed using the
nerve sparing technique (which is a technique used to preserve
erectile function).

I have seen from a previous Google Answers question that there were
195,000 prostatectomies performed in the U.S. in 2002, but don't know
how may were performed in other countries and what percentage used the
nerve sparing technique.

There are several way's that these procedures can be performed...your
question needs to be more specific for the relevant data to be
obtained or else you will be looking up hundereds of websites with
masses of different data for the various types of procedures.
