Hi, I live in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles so I guess the
Los Angeles affiliate. At least part of the program was about tinnitus
or ringing in the ears.

In the two hours before the Peter Jennings tribute, depending on which
ABC channel you were viewing (regular or cable), seems that there
would have been local and national news programs and entertainment
programs.  I didn't find a recent piece from ABC's national news
concerning tinnitus.  However, on the local news, there may be a
recent piece -- it was last updated two days after the Peter Jennings
tribute:

"Relief From Ringing in the Ears" (last updated: 8/12/2004)
