Hemangiomas are non-cancerous vascular tumors that occur in 10% of
infants. Treatments include observation, steroids, laser therapy and
surgery. I have seen on various websites that 10% of patients need to
be evaluated by a specialist. Can you tell me how many patients are
actively treated for this condition each year?

Specifically, information on how many receive laser or surgical
treatment would be very helpful. I would like to know how many
patients are treated throughout the world, but if that information is
not available, U.S. information will be okay.
