Yes, prostitution in general is legal in the United Kingdom. However,
there are numerous restrictions and governing regulations, such as
those defined by the Sexual Offences Acts of 1956 and 2003, but also
by other acts, some of them dating back to the 18th century while
theoretically still being applicable law.
