Earlier this year, iTunes released a list of the Top 100 downloaded
songs and albums of 2004. It's no longer available on the site. Can
someone please locate the lists?

This seems to be one of those digital facts that interested folks
linked to, and when the link disappeared, so did the information. In
any case, I can give you 20% of your answer...

December 9, 2004 - 13:00 EST   Apple's iTunes Music Store has posted
the top 100 songs and the top 100 albums of 2004. The top five songs
are: "This Love" by Maroon 5, "Yeah!" by Usher, "The Reason" by
Hoobastank, "Let's Get It Started (Spike Mix)" by Black Eyed Peas, and
"Vertigo" by U2.
