Okay, I am addicted now. Once I got to thinking about a movie I saw
as a kid, a whole slew of others came to mind, and now I must know
their titles!!! : ) Here are the two:

1. A pseudo-horror/spoof in the early 80's with cheerleaders. Has a
scene where someone is spoofing Ronald Reagan in a limo eating jelly
beans. I know this is not a lot to go on, but the next one is even
worse.

2. A spoof in the 70's I think where a hippie weirdo guy with an old
beat-up truck and a handbuilt wooden camper on it accompanies others
on a religous search. I think they may be following an evangelist.
Another character I think is driving a dilapadated bus. The last
scene is shot in a very hokie church or chapel where God is lit up and
some big experience is had. The main charachter is a guy with a beard,
unkempt, and unclean, and I think there is a pretty girl who is
dressed trashy as well.

I apologize for the wandering plot, but I was 12 when I watched it in
the early 80's on HBO. Any help with locating these titles would end
my restless nights with no sleep : )

I can identify #1. Would that be enough?

Sure, but is it possible to leave the second one up for answering as well?

After I post an answer, then it won't be possible for someone else to
post an "official answer" for #2 in this space. The system is only
set up to accept one paid answer. You could reduce the fee here if
you wish, and then post #2 as a new question.

Okay, movie #1 was "Pandemonium" (1982).

"Pandemonium" was a horror/comedy about a cheerleading camp. Since
the credits list David Becker played "President Ronald Reagan," we can
be certain that this is your film.

From the Internet Movie Database:

"Tom Smothers stars as the brave mountie, who along with his trusty
horse and bitter deputy Paul Reubens must track down a killer who is
stalking coeds at a nearby cheerleader camp."

Thanks.
