I need to repost this question on an obscure movie:
A spoof in the 70's I think where a hippie weirdo guy with an old
beat-up truck and a handbuilt wooden camper on it accompanies others
on a religous search. I think they may be following an evangelist.
Another character I think is driving a dilapadated bus. The last
scene is shot in a very hokie church or chapel where God is lit up and
some big experience is had. The main charachter is a guy with a beard,
unkempt, and unclean, and I think there is a pretty girl who is
dressed trashy as well.
I apologize for the wandering plot, but I was 12 when I watched it in
the early 80's on HBO. Any help with locating these titles would end
my restless nights with no sleep : ) |

If that is Kris Kristofferson, I don't think it is the guy.
Otherwise, I don't think it is. I remember the bearded guy being very
skinny, weird, and unkempt. Thanks : )

Yes that was a little confusing. What I meant to say was it is
definitely not Kris Kristofferson, and I don't think it is the guy in
the picture. But, I was not sure who the guy in the picture was, he
just looked like Kris Kristofferson, and did not look like the guy I
remember. Sorry for the confusion : )

I have finally found the name of this movie. It was filmed in 1980
and is called "In God We Trust" with Andy Kaufman, Marty Feldman, and
Richard Pryor as G.O.D. it was a cult classic!!
