I'd like to research information on on starting up a night club. (ie
background information for the feasibility of a new business venture.

Information must consider Melbourne, Australia as the location unless
it relates to 'nightclubs in general'.

Not having business experience in the industry i was after information
on the following aspects of the industry as well as any others I've
missed out on.

Entry fee / Advertising costs (is outsourcing the door costs viable)
Wholesale Alcohol cost vs. Sale price
Cost of entertainment (DJ/Dancers)
Expected revenue for expected number of people
Most effective nights to run the nightclub AND what would happen when
club is not in use
Information on demographic (ie how much would average individual spend at a club)
Some basic info on branding and location issues
Positives and Negatives of industry

Instead of answering everything above id be more then happy with url's
to studies / research / general information.

i'm really looking for something to get me started, pointers to
infomation or research on the industry from a business point of view
