Hello dan_sun_dell-ga,

As you can see by the results of this preliminary search, it's
impossible to make the comparison you're looking for without some more
information. Please tell us more about what type of installation
you're considering. Thanks.

I have reports from places like Aberdeen. My client wants to market
Sun servers. Dell is serious competition and is winning bids on
pricing.

I'm looking for data that supports that Sun is the better choice, but
I need hard facts to support this assertion. (other than the sales
hype from either company).

From what I gather, Dell's Xeon servers are more or less equivalent to
Sun's Opteron servers in the x86 arena, which is where the comparison
will have to take place.
