I lost my vacation reading book last week, just as it was getting interesting.

Finding the name should be simple, as it is recent and a #1
International best seller (according to the cover).

The book may have the word "windmill" in the title. It was written by
a Spanish Author and translated into English.

Synopsis: 1945, Barcelona. A 10 year old boy is taken to a secret
library by his father and selects a "lost" book to read and remember.
This is the last remaining copy and his nemesis wants to get the book
and destroy (burn) it.
