I would like to buy Google stock but I do not have any clout at a
brokerage firm to buy into Google's proposed new stock offering and am afraid
that, if buying their stock already issued, the price will go down after the
second new offering. For Google's second public offering, can odd lot
shares of their stock be bought (without clout) from either a broker
or directly from Google? if their existing stock is bought on the
open market before the second stock offering, and based on prior
experience, is it likely
the stock price will go down?
