I want to start a furniture company. Can you direct me to companies
who manufacture wood furniture and wrought iron furniture that could
incorporate my ideas? Specifically, I'm looking for companies that
already make custom furniture that could mass-produce pieces on my
behalf. |

Hello!
To help you with the answer, please specify the location where you are
based, and preference, if any, for the location of wood furniture &
wought iron companies that you plan to source from.
Thanks,
muhammad

So, you're looking to sell your idea to them rather than the furniture
itself? You want them to produce the merchandise based on your plans?
Do you have a sample model available for these companies in picture form perhaps?

I'm in Vista, CA, and would want them in the general
vincinity, if possible. North San Diego County
I don't have a model. I'd like to find a company, ideally, that
could put an image from a jpg file on the back of a chair or
on a table. I don't have an idea to sell, I'd be looking to get
the furniture produced and sell it myself

What kind of furniture are you planning to put your images on?
Outdoor, children's, kitchen, dining, etc.? What price furniture? What
materials? Can you describe the categories of furniture you're
thinking about? My preliminary research shows that there is little/no
furniture manufacturing in San Diego.

I'd put the images on children's furniture - tables and chairs. The
place of manufacturing doesn't really matter - if it's in China it's
OK with me, but it's always a little more convenient to stop in if
it's close by. PB Teen (Pottery Barn) has in their catalog a chair
with a dog on it. I thought I'd like to put custom pictures on
furniture just like they did. Price would have to be kept down around
$200-$300 per piece, I would think, to keep a steady flow. PB Teen
charges less than $200 for their generic dog piece. Wrought Iron
constructors are plentiful around here (hispanic tradesmen) so I
thought while I was doing some wood pieces I could make some different
ones from steel, probably outdoor furniture, to stock the store.
