I have an application which runs on a Dell Axim pocket pc that needs to print wirelessly to a printer. I'm looking for which printer model to buy. The vendor of this application specifically states that IRDA printing is supported. The answer I'm looking for is a recommendation of which printer solution to buy. Here are some of the constraints I have many of which are flexible. The application will print small print jobs of 1 to 5 pages at a time, so speed and volume are not critical. The solution should not exceed $600.00 An external IRDA adapter, and separate printer is an acceptable solution. All components must be new, not used. The printer should not be a portable model, and must have an enclosed paper tray capable of holding at least 100 sheets of paper. The printer should be able to print the first sheet within 30 seconds of the print job being sent to the printer. |
