My four year old daughter had grass green diarea last night,and was
complaining of stomach ach. My wife to days ago had the same
complaint, with uncontrolled bowels. Have you heard of anything going
around, or possibly something they ate?

We do have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. I was curious this morning.

Take your baby to a doctor! If this is persistent.  Baby could dehydrate.

i am lactose intolerant.  i take lactase enzyme supplement which
allows my body to digest lactose.  when i overdose on the enzyme
supplement, the symptoms you describe occur.  i doubt this is
happening to your child or your wife, but maybe it is a clue. 
definatly see a doctor.
