I have a Honda Civic 2004 (I didn't buy it so I didn't test drive it)
and I need more leg room. I'm going to get orthopedic problems if I
drive it since I need about six inches more leg room. Can someone
tell me of a specific shop or type of shop that can move back the
tracks on the car (or use another method to achieve the same goal) in
the Fairfax County area near Washington, DC specifically? The body shops I've
called say they won't do it owing to liability concerns. If you don't
know a nearby specific shop (I know there is one in L.A.) that does
it, how could I find a shop or individual who would do it?

I should mention that I am not in a position to do the job myself.
