I'm looking for the best resources on the web for hybrid cars. I'm
mainly interested in articles or sites that focus on the benefits,
advantages, disadvantages, etc... of having a hybrid vehicle.

Hello brandonchall,

Starting with promising listings in the relevant topics in Google
Directory (://www.google.com/Top/Science/Technology/Energy/Transportation/Electric_Vehicles/Electric_and_Gas_Hybrids/)
and Yahoo! Directory
(http://dir.yahoo.com/Recreation/Automotive/Alternative_Fuel_Vehicles/Hybrid_Electric/),
and following links from those pages, I skimmed a couple of dozen
hybrid car sites. In my opinion, three sites stood out as being more
comprehensive than the rest:

HybridCars.com
http://www.hybridcars.com/

GreenHybrid
http://www.greenhybrid.com/

"Hybrid Cars"
About.com
http://hybridcars.about.com/

Whether these resources are best is a matter of opinion. You can
judge according to your own perspective by comparing the sites I've
mentioned to other sites that you've seen or that are listed in the
Google and Yahoo! directories (or in Wikipedia, which I also checked,
at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hybrid_vehicle#External_links).

If you feel that the information I've provided is not sufficient,
please let me know, so that I may do follow-up research.

Hey Scott. I'm looking for a comprehensive list of resources dealing
with hybrids. Maybe some driver forums, content sites, or maybe
specific vehicle reviews. Visit
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=541983 for an example
of what I'm looking for. Thanks for your services.

Before I do follow-up research, let me make sure that I understand what you want.

You have asked for the "best" resources. What crabcakes provided in
the answer to which you have linked is a "broad spectrum" of
information. In my view, "best" is a selective choice from among many
resources. Otherwise, "best" becomes "all" or "many."

One could say that crabcakes went above and beyond the call of duty,
giving you numerous resources when you had asked for the best
resources. She received, as I've received, $15 out of the $20 price
of the question (plus a tip) for listing nearly 50 resources, after
presumably doing a few hours of work: a great bargain! To be honest,
I wouldn't have attempted to answer the question if I thought that
"best resources" called for such a broad answer.

Within the context of "best," I suppose that a top-ten list might be
appropriate. But if you feel that "best" means more than that, I'll
see what I'm able to do.

Also, keep in mind that there are many resources within the three
resources that I have already cited.

I apologize for not being more clear. I am looking for a broad list
of resources. I didn't mean to leave a gray area with the word best.
I completely understand a list like the one crabcakes provided is not
appropriate or possible, but I was just trying to give you an idea of
what I'm after.
