I read an article a few years back about Yul Brynner's unusual on-set
and on-location demands during the making of a movie. For example, he
insisted on having only brown eggs stocked in his hotel or trailer
fridge. I seem to recall once visiting a web site that contained such
contracts for numerous actors and celebrities, many of whose demands
were or are even stranger that Brynner's. Can someone point me to it?

Hello nautico-ga

I have been unable to track down the example you gave of Yul Brynner's
brown eggs except for the example on Brynner's biography

"While touring in the play "Odyssey" in the mid-1970s, Brynner
attained a reputation of being a holy terror toward hotel staff
members. Among other things, all hotel suites where he would stay had
to be painted a certain shade of tan and all kitchens in those hotel
suites had to be stocked in advance with 'one dozen brown eggs, under
no circumstances white ones!'"

These celebrity requests are normally referred to as "riders" and
there are several newspaper articles on their usually excessive

The largest archive of these demands that I could find was at website:

Perhaps one of thse was the site you were looking for. If this is
sufficient for an answer please let me know and I will stop looking.
