Did you have a specific product that you want to know this about, or did you
want a "generic" process in which to do this whenever you desire?
If the former, do you have the 12 digit number from the bar code, or do you
literally have just the bar code and nothing else? Thanks!

yes i have a specific product. i have the box sitting right here by me.
i will type to you what is on the box.
bakery & food service bag
low density clear ploy bag
size 5 x 3.5 x 13 1 mil
bag 250 net wt. 1.8 lb.
made in usa bar code is 88941 53513
under the barcode box is the number 211512
on the bottom of the box is the number 1-53513-8

Howdy Nancy,
I think I have found the source of the product, but I will have to wait
until Monday to call them to make sure it is the correct source.
Until then, it would help me to know if the bags were "gusseted" or had
folds/pleats on the sides. Thanks!

looks to me as it is a folded pleat, but then i am not sure what a
