How to Use the Places COM Add-in
The add-in (Places.dll) included with this document is already built
and will register itself during setup. If the addin does not load
after re-starting Office, you can register it manually using the
following steps:
1.	Click Start, and then click Run.
2.	Type the following command line
Regsvr32 <path>\Places.dll
and then click OK.

See the above addin which I have downloaded and unzipped to
\windows\temp\source\ and resources. When it says Regsvr32
<path>\Places.dll, what must I write in <path> please? Simply that, or
do I have to put \windows\temp\source in that place?

Places.dll should be moved to a permanent location.
Typically, that's in the 'System' folder, so it should
be moved to either:

C:\Windows\System\

or

C:\WINNT\System\


Once you move it to that location, then go to Start
-> Run and type in:

Regsvr32 C:\Windows\System\Places.dll

or

Regsvr32 C:\WINNT\System\Places.dll

...depending on your system.

Then open any Office application, such as Word. On the Tools
menu, you will now find an option entitled 'Set Places'.
