I have just found this site by Google so sorry I don't know how this
pricing thing works but I will put down an arbitrary amount and see if
I don't insult too many people! I also don't know how to collect the
replies so you can always contact me at tomgunner@hotmail.com but will
try my native wit to collect replies from here....

Well here is my situation: I am a UK national, with UK passport (and
no other nationality or passport). I live and work in London. My
boyfriend of one year is Venezuelan, and lives in Madrid. He is
waiting for his Spanish residency to come through, which should
hopefully be any month now. He overstayed his Spanish education visa
and is now part of an amnesty for such cases hence his submission for
Spanish residency. So since we met, in Madrid last August when I was
on holiday, I have been shuttling to and from Madrid every other
weekend, at ruinous cost to me. He can't leave Spain until he gets his
Spanish residency, so we can't travel anywhere outside Spain until
that comes through. Ultimately though, I would like him to come to
London and live with me.

So my question is what options are there for Venezuelan nationals with
Spanish residency, but not spanish nationality, to visit, to work and
to live in London?

Indeed does Spanish residency help in any way? Because if it doesn't
he is considering going back to Venezuela and applying direct to the
UK, as a Venezuelan national, for a UK education visa or something.
