I'm looking for an online criminal records search which would help me
screen tenant applicants for rental units. This is the very thorough
Wisconsin search system I'm looking at as a model of exactly what I
want: http://wcca.wicourts.gov/index.xsl

It shows criminal and civil records (judgments, liens, etc) which are
very important for screening applicants.

Does Indiana have a similar statewide online system?

Would either of these sites be sufficient?

"Indiana State Police - Limited Criminal History Search"
AccessIndiana
https://secure.in.gov/apps/isp/lch/

Doxpop

If so, I'd be happy to post this information as an answer.

I'm specifically looking for a free database which would list more
than just felony convictions. It would list civil judgments and cases
that were filed but never convicted.

Those two sites seem somewhat limited. The first to only certain
misdemeanor and felony convictions with a $fee per search and the
second to a few participating counties.

There may not be such a free searchable pooled database for the State
of Indiana. If there's not, this would do for a suitable answer. I'll
give it a little more time to see if anything else can be pulled up.

Thank you for your fast reply scott.
