I am glad to have been able to help you identify your movie as
"Breaking Point." I remember this film quite well. It was made for
television, and was a remake of one of my favorite theatrical movies,
"36 Hours." Since you said that the movie you wanted was in color, and
"36 Hours" was in black-and-white, that narrowed things down.
"Breaking Point...
Corbin Bernsen, Joanna Pacula, John Glover, David Marshall
directed by Peter Markle
An American major is abducted by Nazi agents. He is debriefed,
tortured and brainwashed into believing the war is over and he has
been in an American military hospital for two years."

"A fascinating look into the lengths Nazi Germany tried to go in order
to gain information. John Glover is superb in his role as Nazi German
Psychologist/Torturer as he tries to convince Corben Bernsen's
character that the war is over and to pull whatever information he can
out of him."

It should be noted that there is at least one other film called
"Breaking Point." The other one stars Gary Busey, and its plot is
totally unrelated.
