I want to know what shopping related categories 16-30 year old females
discuss online and where they discuss them. I am most interested in
whether they talk more about shoes or perfumes or digital cameras and
also on what type of sites (or more specifically what discussion
boards at that site) they discuss this on. Further I would be
interested in what type of things they discuss. Do they give each
other advice, do they criticize products, do they spot trends, do they
buy and sell...

Hello roydesouza-ga,

I'm having trouble with your demographic grouping of "females 16 - 30"
as a meaningful way to explore what women and girls are interested in.
The life stages represented in this age range are significant. I just
can't imagine a website where 16 year olds would be mingling with 30
year olds to discuss shoes, perfumes or digital cameras. I could see
grouping females as high school (14 -18) college/young professional or
worker (19 - 25) and launching career/family (25 - 40) as possible
groupings. I must be missing something. Please tell us more about the
context of your question and the purpose for the research to help us
locate the information you need. Thanks.

I agree that the demographic is broad. Of that demographic I am most
interested in 2 groups that you mention:
1. high school students of 14-18 and
2. college or young professionals of 19-25

the reason for the research is that I want to know what sort of
products these people discuss online and buy (offline and online) and
what their shopping and research process looks like
